Recently we have held some
Internet Security Workshops at CASI. We are available for
groups that are interested. We plan on scheduling more
workshops at CASI and some other locations, please call for
further information.
During the Conficker.C Worm crises we screened over
400 computers for customers for free. You can click on the Fox 18 news story for some of the details. Since no one actually knew what the worm would do, if anything at all, as a public service we screened these machines at no charge. We also used the air compressor to blow out a lot of dust bunnies.
As part of our ongoing commitment to the Quad City community we are pleased to announce that in January
2009 we gave a new computer to Logan Elementary in Moline, Illinois and to St. Josephs Elementary in Dewitt, Iowa. These two schools were selected through an on air contest by our partners at WOC 1420 and we were pleased to build these schools new computers, with Windows XP, of course.
